Matthew graduated from Hillsdale College in 2003 with a degree in history and Classics.  He taught high school Latin and History in Suffolk, Virginia for six years.  He attended Toledo College of Law, graduating in 2014, magna cum laude, where he was a member of Law Review and the Order of the Coif.  After briefly working with ProMedica Hospital Group, he served as the Judicial Attorney for over eight years with the Honorable Darlene A. O’Brien in the Washtenaw County Circuit Court.  Matthew enjoys attending church, spending time with his family, and homeschooling his sons.
